    Wednesday, July 1, 2026 @ 6:00-8:00 p.m. Harmons Bangerter Crossing Cooking School Chef Mark Benson Step into the soul of Athens and experience the joy of making and eating authentic Greek Gyros (pronounced “YEE-ro”) in this hands-on cooking class. Chef Mark will walk you through marinating Pork, Chicken, and Beef Souvlaki and roasting them on a skewer with vegetables and making pita bread from scratch. You will have your choice of creating a Gyro topped with Tzatziki or serving your Souvlaki over a bed of aromatic rice and a refreshing salad of herbs, tomatoes, cucumbers and feta. Come and make new friends in our immersive class and leave with the confidence to recreate this meal at home for your friends and family.
