    Saturday, May 16 | 12:00-2:00 p.m. Harmons Santa Clara Cooking School Chef Stephanie Forget basic bagels. We're going all out. Learn how to make deeply chewy, glossy, bakery-style bagels from scratch-then build the ultimate bagel sandwich with an abundant spread of schmears, lox, and classic toppings. The class will begin with refreshing Chef prepared Thai lettuce wraps and a brief introduction to the foundations of Thai cuisine: the balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy. We will be demonstrating the best technique to make this challenging confection, and make sure that you leave this class a macaron making pro! We will be celebrating Summer by offering a delightful fresh-off-the-grill Summer Supper prior to our instruction. Seats are priced per person. Improvised during a busy weekend, it was originally created with romaine lettuce, garlic oil, eggs, parmesan, and Worcestershire sauce. It became popular in Hollywood, famously popularized as a "finger food" tableside creation. In this class you will learn how to make the ultimate Caesar salad, right down to the croutons. We'll add a filet of grilled salmon and pair it perfectly with wine selected by our Chefs.
