Together we'll roll and cut fresh noodles while a tonkotsu broth quietly simmers nearby. Fold homemade gyoza while you enjoy a freshly popped bottle of ramune. Elegantly sear tender steaks, served next to a velvety soft-boiled egg and your choice of various toppings from our toppings bar. This class isn't about strict regional technique or mastering professional ramen craft- it's about the joy of cooking together, learning a few great tricks, and creating a bowl you'll be proud to slurp. Not only are the seasonings and techniques the base for some of the most incredibly unique dishes in the world, it's the hometown to some of the most incredible Chefs to ever wear the coat. We are bringing the wealth of Southern cuisine and boiling it down to an easy, weeknight ready recipe. We'll start with the potatoes and corn, add in pounds of fresh seafood, and fry up fresh hush puppies to soak up all the butter and broth. Come prepared to get your hands dirty!     Saturday, June 6th 12:00pm-4:30pm Harmons Station Park Cooking School Have you ever wanted to take a peek behind the scenes of a professional kitchen? This is your official invitation. Ask our team of Chefs your burning questions, or just poke around and explore! Our Cooking School is not just a space to learn, it's a fun atmosphere where we host team building activities, birthday & holiday parties, and cater various events around Utah. Ever felt overwhelmed in the aisle or just had questions about the wonderful products we sell? Have Chef Laura shop with you and give recommendations, and wisdom on how to pick the right product for your culinary endeavors! We will have a preview of not only what our classes entail, but how it looks when you walk in and what you can typically expect. Most people come to our Cooking School with no experience, and this open house is designed to introduce you to your next fun night out! There's no purchase or registration necessary for this event. This was something most Americans could only dream of. Inspired by his adventures, he opened a small restaurant/bar influenced by his exotic finds. Join us as we recreate the tiki magic from what became known as Don the Beachcomber's. This class is a direct celebration of that effort and we are proud to bring awareness to the charitable efforts that make us proud to work at Harmons. First, we go over elaborate safety rules before anyone picks up a blade. Then, each Chef is given their own knife and kevlar cut glove to practice with. Under Chef guidance and instruction, each young Chef will learn to slice watermelon, potato, tomato, onion, and most importantly learn important kitchen safety skills that will come in handy anywhere. Our Station Park Cooking School prides itself on providing a fun, safe environment for young Chefs to learn, practice, become better, and eventually become our replacements.   • Junior Chef Kids Camp (July 13-16)

    Monday, July 13th-Thursday, July 16th Ages: 7-12 years old 2:00pm-5:00pm Daily Harmons Station Park Cooking School Chef Laura A Summertime favorite is back again! Our Harmons Cooking School Kids Camp is a 4 day intensive program where your young chefs get to learn alongside real professionals! During the four days, we teach your young chefs everything basic and beyond. Our Lesson Plan: Day 1: -Introductions, Kitchen Safety, Table Etiquette, Basic Knife Skills Day 2: -How to Shop like a Chef, "Alinea and the Art of An Amusing Amuse-Bouche" Activity, Lunch break, Clean Up and Cooking School Jeopardy™ Trivia Game Day 3: Pizza the Profits: Young Chefs will design and execute their own Pizza restaurant- from conception to execution. They'll learn two pizza sauces, a pizza dough recipe, and the basics of what goes on behind the scenes to make a pizza shop successful. Once their IPO is ready, they will get to making and eating pizzas of their own creation. Day 4: "Aluminum Chef Station Park" (Our take on Iron Chef America™) Young chefs will divide up into two teams- and each have 2 hours to create an amuse-bouche, an entree, and dessert. They must incorporate our Super Secret Ingredient into each course. At the end, there are no winners or losers, but each team will be scored as a reflection of their performance. Our Harmons Cooking School Kids Camp is a 4 day intensive program where your young chefs get to learn alongside real professionals! During the four days, we teach your young chefs everything basic and beyond.</p> <p>Our Lesson Plan:</p> <p>Day 1:<br> -Introductions, Kitchen Safety, Table Etiquette, Basic Knife Skills</p> <p>Day 2:<br> -How to Shop like a Chef, "Alinea and the Art of An Amusing Amuse-Bouche" Activity, Lunch break, Clean Up and Cooking School Jeopardy™ Trivia Game</p> <p>Day 3:<br> Pizza the Profits: Young Chefs will design and execute their own Pizza restaurant- from conception to execution. They'll learn two pizza sauces, a pizza dough recipe, and the basics of what goes on behind the scenes to make a pizza shop successful. Once their IPO is ready, they will get to making and eating pizzas of their own creation.</p> <p>Day 4:<br> "Aluminum Chef Station Park" (Our take on Iron Chef America™) Young chefs will divide up into two teams- and each have 2 hours to create an amuse-bouche, an entree, and dessert. They must incorporate our Super Secret Ingredient into each course. At the end, there are no winners or losers, but each team will be scored as a reflection of their performance.</p> <p>What to expect from Harmons Cooking School Kids Camp:</p> <p>Young Chefs will work together in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors. Sharing workstations and equipment. Chefs will be standing, cooking, and working for most of the class.</p>

After the kids are done collecting the candy from the parade, drop them off here so they can mix, bake and decorate their very own gingerbread Pioneer wagon! It's an edible celebration of our State's heritage. Not to worry, our team of Chefs will be plying them with enough soluble fibers to absorb all the sugar.
