Summer Salmon Burgers (June 2)
Jun 2, 6:30 - 8:30 PM
Traverse Mountain
Chef Sterling West
Join us for a vibrant, summer-inspired cooking class where fresh flavors and simple techniques come together in a delicious, satisfying menu.
You’ll start by learning how to prepare perfectly seasoned salmon cakes—crispy on the outside, tender and flaky inside—served on buttery, lightly toasted brioche buns. We’ll pair them with a bright, homemade tartar sauce, featuring fresh herbs, citrus, and just the right balance of tang.
Next, we’ll create a refreshing summer pasta salad, packed with seasonal ingredients and tossed in a light, zesty dressing that highlights the best of warm-weather produce. Alongside it, you’ll roast a colorful medley of summer vegetables to bring out their natural sweetness and depth of flavor.
To finish, indulge your sweet side with a classic strawberry shortcake. You’ll assemble layers of tender cake, juicy macerated strawberries, and softly whipped cream for a dessert that’s as beautiful as it is irresistible.
This class is perfect for home cooks of all levels looking to sharpen their skills, work with fresh seasonal ingredients, and bring a taste of summer to their table. Come hungry and leave inspired!
Seats are priced per person.
