• Indian Chicken Tikka Masala (June 10)

Wednesday, June 10 @ 6pm - 8pm Harmons Bangerter Crossing Cooking School Chef Mark Benson Join the Harmons Cooking School Team as they introduce you to one of the most common dishes you’ll see on most Indian restaurant menus. However, did you know that Tikka Masala was actually created in Great Brittian sometime in the 1960s or 70’s, likely by a Pakistani immigrant that was looking to adapt the popular dish, Butter chicken, to the local palate. Tikka Masala wouldn’t be complete without a bowl of Basmati rice and warm, freshly made Naan bread. To cool the spices of the Tikka Masala, you’ll learn how to make Raita, a yogurt-based sauce that balances this robust dish. To complete the meal, Chef Mark will demonstrate how to make Saag Paneer, a spinach dish cooked with firm Paneer cheese, and you’ll wash the meal down with a chef prepared Mango lassi dessert! Menu: Chicken Tikka Masala Naan Bread Saag Paneer Basmati Rice Raita Mango Lassi (Chef Prepared) Seats are priced per person. Please plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to class time. Please list any dietary restrictions in the comment section. To receive a refund or credit, cancellations must be submitted no less than 48 hours before the class begins.
Wednesday, June 10 @ 6pm - 8pm
Harmons Bangerter Crossing Cooking School
Chef Mark Benson

Join the Harmons Cooking School Team as they introduce you to one of the most common dishes you’ll see on most Indian restaurant menus.

Menu:

Chicken Tikka Masala

Naan Bread

Saag Paneer

Basmati Rice

Raita

Mango Lassi (Chef Prepared)

Seats are priced per person.

Please plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to class time.

Please list any dietary restrictions in the comment section.

To receive a refund or credit, cancellations must be submitted no less than 48 hours before the class begins.

Please contact the school at 16cookingschool@harmonsgrocery.com or 801-617-0111, ext. 1609 with any questions.

What to expect in a hands-on Harmons Cooking School class:
You'll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.
You will be working in small groups, sharing workstations, dishes and equipment.
Classes are 2 to 2 1/2 hours unless otherwise noted above.
You will be standing, cooking, and working for most of the class.
