Seafood Mastery: Norwegian Salmon (October 15th)
Thursday, October 15, 2026, 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Harmons Mountain View Cooking School
Chef Mark Benson
This class will be an introduction to Varlaks Norwegian Salmon which begins its journey in the pristine waters above the Arctic Circle. Family farmers lovingly raise this salmon in pristine conditions without antibiotics, GMOs or hormones. With plenty of space to swim, Varlaks salmon develops firm, flavorful flesh. Harvested at peak quality, each salmon is treated with care.
Upon arrival to the class, guests will enjoy a refreshing salad with strawberries, goat cheese, and balsamic vinaigrette while Chef Mark demonstrates how to brine and properly pan sear salmon. By the end of this hands-on class, you will learn how to make a sauce, roast vegetables in the oven, and create a silky, creamy puree that goes well with just about any meal!
