A Taste of Tokyo: Salmon & Sake, 21+ (August 28)
Friday, August 7 | 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Harmons Santa Clara Cooking School
Chef Stephanie Cardinal
Step into the cozy world of Japanese pub dining. In this hands-on class, we'll prepare a menu inspired by the neighborhood izakayas of Japan, balancing savory, fresh, and lightly sweet flavors.
Whether you're a longtime fan of Japanese cuisine or looking to expand your repertoire beyond sushi, this class offers a delicious avenue to one of Japan's most beloved dining traditions. You will prepare miso-cured salmon, an impressive dish you'll want to serve at every gathering. Raise a glass, say kanpai, and enjoy an evening of comforting dishes and understated elegance.
Menu:
Sake Chef's Pairing
House-made Japanese Pickled Vegetables
Cucumber & Avocado Salad with Shichimi Togarashi
Miso-Cured Salmon
Pan-Seared Bok Choy
Jasmine Rice
Green Tea Mochi
Seats are priced per person.
Please list any dietary restrictions in the comment section.
