    Friday, August 7 | 6:00-8:00 p.m. Harmons Santa Clara Cooking School Chef Stephanie Cardinal Step into the cozy world of Japanese pub dining. In this hands-on class, we'll prepare a menu inspired by the neighborhood izakayas of Japan, balancing savory, fresh, and lightly sweet flavors. Whether you're a longtime fan of Japanese cuisine or looking to expand your repertoire beyond sushi, this class offers a delicious avenue to one of Japan's most beloved dining traditions. You will prepare miso-cured salmon, an impressive dish you'll want to serve at every gathering. Raise a glass, say kanpai, and enjoy an evening of comforting dishes and understated elegance. Menu: Sake Chef's Pairing House-made Japanese Pickled Vegetables Cucumber & Avocado Salad with Shichimi Togarashi Miso-Cured Salmon Pan-Seared Bok Choy Jasmine Rice Green Tea Mochi Seats are priced per person. Please list any dietary restrictions in the comment section. Important Information: This class is 21+, and you must bring a valid government-issued photo ID to participate, even if you will not be drinking. We're required to verify ID at check-in, and unfortunately, we won't be able to admit any guests without one. You will be working in small groups, sharing workstations and equipment. Classes are 2 hours unless otherwise noted above. You will be standing, cooking, and working for most of the class. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.
